Dress:
Those participating in an AHA course should dress appropriately as they should expect to be on their knees for an extended period of time throughout the course instruction.
Take Care CPR offers education that is video based with hands on demonstration. Take Care CPR must feel confident that each student is able to demonstrate use of the skill and pass any written exam as set forth by the American Heart Association guidelines pertaining to the selected course. No certification will be given if these skills are not demonstrated and met. Our goal is to ensure that each student passes and successfully demonstrates the skill and Take Care CPR will remediate when needed.
It is imperative that the student be on time. If you do not arrive on time you will be forwarded to the next available class.
Disabilities:
Each student that enrolls for any class involving CPR must be physically capable of bending their legs and have full range of motion of their arms. Participants should expect to be on their knees for an extended period of time throughout the course instruction. Performing cardio pulmonary resuscitation requires strength and good physical health as it could be physically challenging for some students.
